D’URBAN introduced a new fabric called “Monsoon” and named the product line accordingly as well for producing lightweight and ventilative suits to meet customer’ needs especially during the summer time

2005

D’URBAN relaunched in Fall/Winter 2005, with complete revamp in merchandising directions, store makeovers and image building initiatives. Above-the-line image advertising campaign featuring world-class models such as David Smith and Shaun DeWet created by photographer Michelangelo di Battista has successfully affirmed the image of the D’URBAN Man

2006

LF Asia Investments Limited, the private investment arm of Li & Fung (1937) Limited that invests in buyout transactions and other long-term private equity investments in consumer-related industries, has acquired a group of companies that manufacture and retail a leading range of menswear labels. The newly created LiFung Trinity Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Li & Fung (1937) Limited has purchased 100% of the privately held Trinity Textiles Limited and D’urban Distributions (H.K.) Limited

2007

D’URBAN continues to roll out new stores and refurbish existing units. The new concept has already been implemented in 2007 in existing stores in Taiwan and Hong Kong, and in new stores in China, Shanghai, Suzhou, Qingdao and Shenzhen

2008

D’URBAN launched new strategy to resposition the brand by inviting a new Creative Director, Mr. Domenico Giandonato for its Falll/Winter 2008 Collection

2010-2011

Celebrates 40 years of D’URBAN, D’URBAN has appointed famous Asian artist, Mr. Yutaka Takenouchi as spokesperson
