Autumn/Winter 2012 Press Open House

Gieves & Hawkes unveiled its latest Autumn/Winter 2012 collection at UNIONART, 798 Art Zone, Beijing on 10th July. The best of sophisticated British tailoring pairs cool greys or marine blues with bright colours that add a splash of character and eccentricity. It’s a look of insouciant simplicity that draws its power from an effortless execution. The Savile Row tailor’s design team sought inspiration for this beautifully crafted collection in the work of David Hicks, a celebrity interior designer of the 1960s and 70s, and David Hockney, a Yorkshire born artist whose work is sought after by collectors around the globe. These two inspiring British icons have thrilled the world with their sense of style and Gieves & Hawkes has taken some of their most striking colour tones to produce a collection that is both innovative and chic, offering men of sartorial wisdom the chance to stand out in even the most elegant crowd.
