Kent & Curwen Autumn/Winter 2017

Creative Director Daniel Kearns and business partner David Beckham presented the Kent & Curwen Autumn/Winter 2017 collection during London Fashion Week Men’s on Sunday, January 8th 2017.
The collection is a reflection of how the past shapes the present, and the present interprets the past to create a modern contemporary wardrobe that speaks across generations.
This season, the presentation took place at the Oxo Tower Wharf Bargehouse on Southbank. ‘We wanted this collection to appeal to a broader audience, and in that context, the space had to feel relevant’ says Daniel Kearns. ‘With its tiled walls, concrete floor and hundreds of years of history this space felt immediately right – modern yet grounded in history. Like a vintage men’s club.’
Oversized portraits sat alongside key pieces from the collection, which were displayed in traditional glass vitrines. In adjacent rooms, a series of film installations brought the collection to life.
Editors, stylists and friends of the brand were offered miniature British pub classics, freshly roasted chestnuts and warming hot toddies.
